Frequently asked questions
How does card scanning work?
Take a photo of one card or a whole spread (up to ~20 cards per photo). Resolved identifies the cards with a vision model and matches them against the Scryfall database. You review every result — quantity, foil, condition, printing — before anything is added to your collection. Scanning has a daily per-account limit.
A scan missed or misread a card. What can I do?
Glare, shadows, and soft focus are the usual culprits — sleeves are fine, but try to shoot straight-on in even light. You can fix any result in the review step, and Add → Manual Search adds cards without a photo at all.
Does the app work offline?
The iOS app caches your collection on-device, so browsing and searching work offline. Scanning, prices, and sync need a connection.
Where do prices come from?
Daily price data from Scryfall (TCGPlayer/Cardmarket market prices). Prices are reference estimates, not offers.
Can I share my collection?
Yes — create a read-only share link (web: Share button; iOS: More → Share Collection). Anyone with the link can browse your collection without signing in. Your notes and tags stay private, and you can revoke the link anytime.
How do I delete my account?
iOS: More → Delete Account. Web: "Delete account" in the navigation bar. Deletion is immediate and removes everything permanently.
I signed in and my collection is empty.
You probably signed in with a different provider than last time (Google vs. Apple). Accounts are matched by email — if you used Apple's Hide My Email, it creates a separate account. Sign out and try the other provider.
