What Resolved is
Resolved is a personal Magic: The Gathering collection tracker, available on the web at resolved.gg and as an iOS app. It is built and run by one person, not a company. This policy describes everything the service collects and why.
Data collected
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, Resolved stores your name, email address, and (for Google) profile picture to identify your account. Sign in with Apple users may hide their real email; Apple's relay address is stored instead.
- Your content. The cards, quantities, conditions, tags, decks, cubes, wishlists, trades, and share links you create are stored so the service can show them back to you and sync them across your devices.
- Scan photos. Photos you submit for card scanning are sent to a vision model (the Google Gemini API) to identify the cards in them, then discarded. Photos are processed transiently and are not retained on Resolved's servers after the scan completes.
- Crash diagnostics. The iOS app reports crashes (device model, OS version, stack traces) to Sentry so bugs can be fixed. Crash reports are not used for advertising or profiling.
What is not done with your data
- No ads, and no advertising or analytics trackers.
- Your data is never sold or shared with data brokers.
- Your collection is private by default. It is visible to others only if you create a share link, and a share link exposes a read-only view that excludes your notes and tags. You can revoke a share link at any time.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
Third-party services
Resolved is hosted on Vercel with data stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database. Card names, images, and prices come from the Scryfall API; your identity is never sent to Scryfall. Scan photos are processed by the Google Gemini API as described above. Purchase links open third-party retailers (TCGPlayer, Card Kingdom, Cardmarket) whose own policies apply once you leave the app.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and all of its data at any time: in the iOS app under More → Delete Account, or on the web via the Delete account control in the navigation bar. Deletion is immediate and total — collection, decks, cubes, wishlists, trades, share links, and the account itself. If you signed in with Apple, Resolved's access to your Apple ID is revoked as part of deletion.
